Fees

Provincial health insurance plans (OHIP) do not cover the fees for psychological services provided by psychologists in private practice. Fees are consistent with the Ontario Psychological Association guidelines and are subject to revision each year, effective January 1st.

The cost of psychological services (Psychological Counselling; Neuropsychological Assessments; Psychological Assessments) may be covered by other sources:

  • Extended Health Insurance Plans
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Motor Vehicle Insurance Plans
  • Legal Representation

Psychological services may be deducted as:

  • Medical expense on the income taxes
  • Business expense

Fees for Neuropsychological and Psychological Assessments are based on the complexity and duration of the evaluation. An estimate of assessment fees will be provided prior to the initiation of the evaluation.
